CONTACTICA (CTA) is a private Innovation Consulting Company that since 2009 grows by guiding and leading innovation processes with know-how and capacities applied to new product development. CTA carries out Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Analysis and Social Life Cycle Assessments (S-LCA) and combines them in Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) to encompass the three dimensions of sustainability in a holistic approach.
Manuel Roman
Bachelor degree in Economics and MBA in the EOI (industrial organizational School) and postgraduate studies in the Swedish School of economics (HANKEN). He has long experience as international project’s director, business development, change management, innovation processes. He created the company CONTACTICA in 2004 and he is the current general manager of the company where he coordinates, develops and executes projects in the innovation field, mainly for traditional industries. Participation in WP1, helping in the management of the project, and WP8.
Carolina Alfonsín
Mrs. Alfonsín gained experience on LCA attending to several international courses and conferences, including a research stay in UGent in Belgium. Moreover, she carried out her PhD thesis on LCA of air pollution control technologies. During this period, she published several scientific papers in international journals and she contributed to LCA methodological improvements. Involved in WP6 and WP8.
Nuria Valdés
Bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences, with several years of experience in environmental consulting. She has participated in the management of several environmental and R+D projects (H2020) both nationally and internationally, managing economic and human resources, deadlines, administrative tasks and achieving the objectives, based on key performance indicators (BSC methodology). Involved in WP1 and WP8.
Ricardo Mendez
Materials Engineer who has addressed his professional career into sustainability, recycling and, specially, Life Cycle Assessment.. He has also participated in several European and International events such as the Start-Ups bootcamp and the Raw Materials and Circular Economy challenge, developing his scientific and business skills. Currently, he is an LCA expert at Contactica assessing the environmental performance of innovative process and products. Involved in WP6.
