Proefstation voor de Groenteteelt

 

PSKW (1963) is a practical research institute for greenhouse and field vegetables located in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Flanders, Belgium. PSKW fosters innovation in close contact with growers who decide on (semi)field trials and dissemination activities. The PSKW research group has developed key expertise in the fields of water, fertilisation, vegetable varieties, energy, climate management, IPM and biological control, cropping systems, cultural techniques, microbial and chemical food safety, automation and robotisation and waste management.

Sander Fleerakkers

Master of science in Bioscience engineering. Scientific researcher at PSKW. His research activity focuses on organic cultivation of open field vegetables and sustainable crop protection methods. Participation in WP2 by interaction with target group, WP 5 by field experiments, WP7 and WP8.

Joris De Nies

Master of science in Bioscience engineering. Scientific researcher at PSKW and advisor for nutrients on soil samples for farmers. Research experience in fertilization, soil fertility, different kinds of fertilizers, fertilisation techniques and irrigation in vegetables. Involved in WP2, WP3, WP5, WP7 and WP8.
