All Finnish partners of the SoildiverAgro project held an online meeting via MS Teams on 7th May to celebrate a Regional meeting. The objective of the meeting was to discuss and change information between project members about the current situation and ongoing tasks in the project. There was a lively discussion about the knowledge transfer between SDA community and farmers since there is a need for research-based knowledge for example of the effects of tillage practices and usage of cover crops on soil function and health. Annual meeting enabled discussion between project members and gave a good update of the current ongoing tasks in different activities. Meeting also allowed the exchange of information between people working with practical matters concerning the future field work, such as gas chamber installations and gas sampling, and soil and earthworm sampling in the case study fields. The last case study from Boreal, Contrasting continuous plant cover with inversion tillage in wheat fields, have just started and needed a special attention in discussions.
