Finnish stakeholders get to know SoildiverAgro at two different events

SoildiverAgro was introduced to several Finnish stakeholders at Lepaa 2022 Horticultural exhibition which took place from 11 to 13th August. The discussions focused on fibres and catch crops were organized by Kauppapuutarhaliitto. SoildiverAgro partners Petla and LUKE participated with a stand. Also on the 16th, 40 stakeholders participated in a field tour, trial presentations and discussions, organized at Räpi by Petla, Apetit, LUKE, Pyhäjärvi-instituutti säätiö and Tampere University.

On 30 and 31 March, our Belgium partner INAGRO took soil samples for the different analyses (biological, physical and chemical) related to Case study 7: Cover crop mixtures: a promotor of soil biodiversity in potato crops? Atlantic Central (Belgium). At that time the 4 different cover crop mixtures (little to very species-diverse) had mostly died off due to frost. In addition, earthworms were also sampled.
