The SoildiverAgro project is approaching its final event, scheduled for May 13–15, 2025. The event will take place at the Monastery of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil (Ourense, Galicia), bringing together all project partners from across the regions where the soil management practices of the project have been tested (Lusitanean, Mediterranean, Atlantic Central, Nemoral, Boreal, and Continental).

This three-day event will serve as a comprehensive review of the project’s outcomes. Leaders of all work packages will present their conclusions, accompanied by the results from each regional case study.

The event will begin on Tuesday, May 13, at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Vigo (Ourense campus), with presentations by work package leaders. Participants will then travel to the Monastery of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil, followed by a field visit to the experimental plots of Case Study 3, selected as a model for best soil management practices within the project.

On Wednesday, May 14, the morning will continue with work package presentations. In the afternoon, regional case study results will be presented, followed by a field visit to vineyards sampled as part of the BIOservicES project.

The final day, Thursday, May 15, will conclude the case study presentations. The Project Coordinator, David Fernández Calviño, will summarize the project’s key findings and long-term impact. The event will close with a special session titled Project Legacy: Interaction with Soil Biodiversity Projects. This session will feature guest speakers from SoildiverAgro’s sister initiatives and newly launched projects under the latest European funding call on biodiversity.
